Summer Adventure Camp is an open holiday camp for teenagers aged 14 to 16, running from 12 to 21 December 2026 at Willow Point, Sedgefield. Hiking, canoeing, high ropes, abseiling and camp life, led by trained Outward Bound facilitators. A life-changing outdoor experience packed with adventure, challenge and fun, where young people build confidence, make new friends and discover what they are capable of.
Summer Adventure Camp is the Outward Bound course any teenager can sign up for on their own. Participants arrive at Willow Point, meet their facilitators and their group, and spend the next ten days living and learning outdoors. The days are filled with hiking and expeditions, canoeing and water activities, high ropes and abseiling, and team challenges that ask the group to plan, lead and solve problems together.
Most arrive knowing nobody. By the end of camp they have shared a climb, a paddle and a campfire with the same group, and they head home with new friends, real outdoor skills and a certificate to show for it. Like every Outward Bound course worldwide, the summer adventure camp follows the safety standards of Outward Bound International.
